The Guidelines

Taking one whole trip of every single bus service in Singapore is not an easy task, and taking every single minor bus service wouldn't make this at all enjoyable, hence it feels fitting to lay down some guidelines before beginning. (Keyword is ENJOYABILITY)

  1.  I will be taking one trip of all Trunk and Express routes in Singapore, (Sorry Night Buses, City Direct and the three Cross-Border routes etc.)
  2. BUT not short trip services (e.g. 33A, 195B etc)
  3. A trip is counted as one direction on bi-directional routes and the absolute entirety of loop services (Example: one trip of 64 would be Sims Place to Mei Ling Street and back to Sims Place)
  4. I will, however, treat bus services that loop at bus interchanges as bi-directional. (refer to 2)
  5. I will allow myself to split loop service trips into halves, but I must start where I left off.
And that's pretty much all for rules, I will be using the useful website landtransportguru.net for my journeys. Feel free to visit if you want to learn more about Singapore buses in general. (and the immensity of the challenge I'm undertaking)

My first entry should be tomorrow, but for now, stay tuned!

An Introduction

It's not easy being a Secondary School Student, let alone one without many friends. So I pondered what I would do after my O-Levels. I then stumbled across a video - this video - about a group of elderly women who ventured to travel the entire length of all the bus routes in London. And so I thought, "Hmm... I do enjoy long and endless bus journeys, why not I do the same?"

And so, starting after my last paper today (14 Nov), I shall embark on a journey, making use of my 6-month break to travel the entirety all bus routes in Singapore.
